In collaboration with the Elizabeth Renaissance Foundation and commissioned by the city of Elizabeth, New Jersey, the Julian Kean Mural celebrates the rich heritage and history of the city. It highlights pivotal moments such as the advent of steam trains, which revolutionized travel across the expansive American continent. The mural also features local landmarks like Liberty Hall, erected in 1772 and now a revered museum and National Historic Landmark. Additionally, a portrait of Julian Halstead Kean graces the mural, honoring his role as a member of the esteemed Kean family, who contributed to the city by selling their land. The project was completed over the course of seven days of dedicated painting.
